OneDesk is a Chrome extension that shows your Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Tasks in one side panel. It authenticates with your own Google Account through official Google OAuth. There is no OneDesk username or password.
Data we access
- Gmail message metadata and content required to list, preview, archive, star, and move messages to Trash
- Google Calendar calendars and events
- Google Tasks lists and tasks
- Your Google account email, name, and avatar for the Account screen
How data is stored
Tokens are handled by the Chrome Identity API. Preferences and a short-lived local cache of mail, events,
and tasks are stored in chrome.storage on your device so OneDesk can open instantly. OneDesk
does not operate a product account database and does not sell personal data.
What we do not do
- We do not ask for your Google password
- We do not run remote executable code
- We do not execute scripts contained in email HTML
- We do not use accessed Google data to train unrelated products
